Tightrope Media Systems, PTZOptics, and Sennheiser Demonstrate ADA-Compliant Media Workflows for Local Government Meetings at InfoComm

Automated camera operation, reliable, clear audio, and live captioning and translation come together in a streamlined accessibility workflow built for government meeting video

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, June 9, 2026 — Tightrope Media Systems, PTZOptics, and Sennheiser will demonstrate a working video accessibility workflow that supports ADA Title II compliance for local government meetings at InfoComm 2026, Central Hall booth C9582. The live demonstration shows how professional audio capture, broadcast-quality video, and MediaScribe's live captioning and real-time translation combine into a single accessibility workflow purpose-built for the realities of city council, school board, and county commission meetings.

The demonstration responds to a problem most local government media operators recognize immediately. One or two staff members, with or without AV backgrounds, are responsible for the entire production workflow of their public meetings. ADA Title II requirements and interpreter shortages are creating demand for scalable accessibility solutions that reduce operator burden and reliance on specialized staff.

At booth C9582, visitors can test out a setup designed for a single operator, with no specialized training, to run a fully accessible session. They simply turn transcription on in MediaScribe, speak into a Sennheiser SpeechLine Digital Wireless microphone, and watch captions appear on the display in real time. The SpeechLine's professional speech capture is doing quiet but critical work: cleaner audio into MediaScribe's speech recognition engine means more accurate captions out, with less need for correction or intervention. A PTZOptics Studio SE camera completes the room, providing professional-quality video capture and flexible remote camera control. High-quality video capture also supports more accurate AI-generated audio descriptions when meetings are processed for on-demand publishing, another requirement local government teams will need to meet.

JJ Parker, Co-Founder and CEO of Tightrope Media Systems, says the collaboration reflects a shift in what local government teams should have to take on. "We built MediaScribe because local government teams were being asked to do more for their communities with the same staff and the same budgets they have always had. We wanted to make it possible for one person to produce a fully accessible public meeting for residents in the room and at home. That is what we have built together."

“PTZOptics camera solutions help local government teams simplify meeting video capture without adding unnecessary production complexity,” says Jon Roberts, Customer Success Manager, PTZOptics. “Paired with Sennheiser’s professional audio and MediaScribe’s captioning and translation tools, the result is a practical workflow that helps residents in the room and online better follow public meetings.”

For Sennheiser, the collaboration is an extension of their guiding principle. “Meeting equity starts with making sure every voice in the room is heard with clarity, and that is what the SpeechLine Digital Wireless is built for,” says Charlie Jones, Senior Partner Relations Manager, Sennheiser. “Sennheiser ensures every voice is captured. MediaScribe ensures everyone in the room can take in that information. PTZOptics ensures the residents outside the room can still see and follow their local government at work."

MediaScribe is a video accessibility platform designed to support ADA Title II compliance for state and local government entities. The platform delivers AI-powered real-time captions and translations into more than 72 languages, downloadable meeting transcripts, in-room caption and translation display, and QR code access for accessibility on mobile devices. Tightrope also recently announced the addition of AI-powered audio descriptions for prerecorded meeting video.

The demonstration will be live in booth C9582 during show hours for the run of the conference. Walk-up demos are welcome. To schedule a dedicated meeting with the Tightrope Media Systems team, visit mediascribe.ai/infocomm.
